New double bass pick-up!
The new version of the Vektor double bass pick-up is now available. It is also finally possible to use it on cellos! This new version is easy to install andeasy to take off., no more drilling into the bridge or any other invasive operation on your bass or cello.
The new pick-up gives a very clear amplified sound of your instrument for both arco and pizz.
The pick-up is housed in a contraption which is fixed under the bridge arch. The position can be adjusted to your sound requirements.
This way it can now be used not only on basses, but also for the first time on cellos!
The 1/4" jack socket is velcroed underneath the tailpiece. The pre-amp, which supplies the pick-up with the needed phantom power, is housed inside the jack socket and the battery fits into a small leather pocket under the tailpiece.
There is also an external pre-amp available.
